About Us 

Toxicology is the study of the adverse effects of chemicals or substances on living systems. It crosses a broad range of disciplines including biology, pharmacology, chemistry and medicine. OSU offers a graduate certificate in Interdisciplinary Toxicology Many students combine the graduate certificate in interdisciplinary toxicology (12 hrs) to further enhance their training.

Prospective Students

The ITP involves investigators from several departments and colleges (College of Veterinary Medicine, Center for Health Sciences, and the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Integrative Biology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Nutritional Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics) from both the Stillwater and Tulsa campuses. Areas of expertise of participating faculty are broad and extend from molecular to ecosystem to community approaches.

Fellowships & Awards

The Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program offers both fellowships and awards to graduate students who have research focused on some aspect of toxicology.
